NFIB/Ohio Legislative Director Ty Pine joined NFIB in August 2000 as assistant state director for Public Policy. He has lead the small-business group's public policy initiatives, including lobbying, political and advocacy initiatives.

Pine has an extensive background in state government public affairs. Previous to NFIB, he served as chief of legislative and public affairs for the Ohio Department of Insurance.

A graduate of Ohio University, Pine and his wife, Tedra, reside in Upper Arlington with their daughter, Avery.
