NFIB Guardian of Small Business Awards in Tennessee - 109th Congress

Only senators and representatives who support NFIB at least 70 percent of the time on key votes are eligible for this prestigious award. The NFIB Key Votes are chosen from the issues NFIB members identify in their Member Ballot responses.

NFIB President and CEO Todd Stottlemyer praised these members of Congress for "standing for small business." In presenting the coveted "Guardian of Small Business" awards on Capitol Hill, Stottlemyer said, "Small-business owners pay close attention to how their lawmakers vote on the issues affecting their businesses and employees and stand by those who stand for them.

"The record shows that these senators and representatives are true champions of small business, having stood strong on the key small-business votes in the 109th Congress," said Stottlemyer. "This award reflects our members' appreciation for their support of the NFIB pro-growth agenda for small business."
