DENVER, Colo. -- The political action committee of the National Federation of Independent Business, the nation's leading small-business group, today announced its endorsement of gubernatorial candidate Bob Beauprez.
NFIB supports candidates who have pro-small-business voting records and are strong advocates for small-business owners. Beauprez, while serving in Colorado's 7th Congressional District, has sided with small business on all of the important issues -- voting with NFIB 100 percent of the time. Taking a stand for small-business owners in Colorado and across America, Congressman Beauprez voted to eliminate the death tax, create Small-Business Health Plans and reduce frivolous lawsuits against business owners.
"Bob Beauprez has always been accessible and sympathetic to the issues affecting small- and independent-business owners", said NFIB/Colorado State Director Tony Gagliardi. "As a small businessman himself, Bob fully understands the everyday challenges faced by our state's small-business members," he continued.
NFIB's political support is based on Beauprez's position, records on small-business issues, and an overwhelmingly favorable vote by NFIB members to support him. This endorsement comes from NFIB SAFE (Save America's Free Enterprise) Trust, the organization's political action committee and brings considerable grassroots support of Colorado's small-business owners to Beauprez's campaign. NFIB was ranked the most influential business-lobbying organization in the country by Fortune magazine all four years the magazine conducted its survey.
