U.S. Reps. Ed Whitfield, Ron Lewis, Anne Northup, Geoff Davis and Hal Rogers were recently recognized in the media for their support of a pro-small-business agenda. The lawmakers were key players in helping to enact important small-business tax credits and fought for Small-Business Health Plans.
"Kentucky's small-business owners are fortunate to have such strong representation championing their issues in the U.S. House," said Dan Danner, executive vice president of NFIB, in the Grayson County News-Gazette. "They understand a strong economy starts with Kentucky's small job creators, and they know a one-size-fits-all economic policy can hurt small businesses."
Each of the legislators has a record of supporting small business, and each has received the NFIB Guardian of Small Business award.
