Asa Hutchinson |
Former congressman and Republican nominee for governor Asa Hutchinson recently released a five-point agenda to help bolster the Arkansas small-business community. The plan calls for a review of the regulatory impact that new laws may have on businesses, promotes small-business health plans, encourages more small businesses to bid for state contracts, and asks for a new law to redefine what can be seized by government under eminent domain.
"As a business owner myself, I've experienced firsthand the challenges that entrepreneurs face," Hutchinson told the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette. "We need a friendlier climate in which they can thrive."
