Temporary Worker Regulations
Issue Overview: HB 1543 would require certain regulations for temporary workers:
- If the job term is less than one week, they are to be paid at the end of each day.
- Temporary company cannot charge a fee for cashing paychecks.
- Temporary company cannot charge a fee for transportation that is a condition of employment.

Issue Status: Bill has been recommended to be referred for interim study.
