Senators Home on Recess: Tell Them to Vote “Yes” to Small-Business Health Plans
04/10/2006

Today marks the beginning of the U.S. Senate’s two-week recess, and while they will be taking a break from work on legislative issues, small-business owners will not.

During the next two weeks, contact your U.S. senators in their hometowns and urge them to vote “yes” to S. 1955, Small-Business Health Plan legislation. Remind them that the recent committee passage of the bill was a huge step forward, but small-business owners and employees around the country need the full Senate to vote “yes”—no excuses—to S. 1955 and make Small-Business Health Plans a reality.

Be Involved
Call, write or fax your senator and tell them to vote for S. 1955. Let them know that small business can't wait any longer for Small-Business Health Plans—too many small-business owners, employees and family members are uninsured. Go to www.SBHPAlert.com to send a letter to your senators today. Your voice can make a difference!
