Small-business owners across the country are gearing up for NFIB’s 2006 National Small-Business Summit, where they will have the opportunity to meet their lawmakers face-to-face and share their experiences about how Washington, D.C., decisions affect small businesses everywhere.

In addition to meeting with lawmakers,Summit participants will hear from a variety of business and political experts including NBC News Chief White House Correspondent David Gregory, eBay President Meg Whitman and Mississippi Gov. Haley Barbour.  Breakout sessions will provide insightful and practical tips on:

  • How to be an effective advocate for small business back home;
  • How to make a difference in this year’s elections;
  • Topics such as taxes and health care, to help them run their businesses.

Thanks to the generosity of the Summit sponsors, including presenting sponsor Visa, the registration fee will remain at the low cost of $450 per person, a discount previously available only during early registration.

NFIB's annual Leadership Trust meeting also will be held in conjunction with the Summit this year. Attendees will hear from Newt Gingrich, author and former Speaker of the U.S. House. Join Leadership Trust today, and you can register online for both the Summit and the Leadership Trust annual meeting.
