If a picture is worth a thousand words, then taking an elected official on a tour of your business is worth at least ten thousand. Just ask Michael Nevins at Full Spectrum Solutions located in Jackson, Mich.
A manufacturer of natural lighting products and fixtures, Full Spectrum Solutions hosted State Reps. Rick Baxter (R-Hanover) and Leslie Mortimer (R-Jackson) on a recent visit to their plant. The lawmakers asked NFIB to organize a tour to provide small-business input on a variety of current business issues, including the Single Business Tax and the state's poor economy. Nevins agreed to the tour after being contacted by NFIB.
"It is important for our representatives in Lansing to hear our concerns and see first-hand the challenges we face every day we are in business in Michigan," Nevins said.
