WASHINGTON, D.C. -- The National Federation of Independent Business, the nation's largest small-business advocacy group, updated its Web site this week to include RSS (Really Simple Syndication) feeds. Frequent visitors of NFIB.com will now be able to view new content without regularly checking the Web site for updates. NFIB.com RSS feeds contain headlines and links to the site where complete articles can be read.
NFIB.com RSS feeds are based on articles and information published to NFIB.com on a regular basis. Current RSS feeds include:
- NFIB index
- small-business news
- political updates
- NFIB.com tools and tips
- small-business research
- NFIB news releases
RSS feeds are also available for select NFIB.com state Web pages, updating visitors on small-business news from Arizona, California, Colorado, Michigan, New Jersey, Ohio, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and Washington.
To receive RSS feeds, users must have a news reader or aggregator in place (links to news reader services are also available on NFIB.com's RSS Web page). To subscribe to NFIB.com RSS feeds, visit www.nfib.com/rss and select from the list of feeds. Once you've selected the link, follow your news reader's instructions for adding a new feed. The feeds are offered free of charge.
The small, orange icon at the bottom, right-hand corner of all NFIB.com Web pages, will also quickly bring users to the list of feeds.
