If there is one thing that is clear after Election Day, it's that the voice of small business was heard.
The National Federation of Independent Business' Save America's Free Enterprise Political Action Committee endorsed small-business-friendly candidates, and members dedicated their time and efforts toward these candidates' campaigns throughout election season.
These candidates were those who sought to improve the small-business climate, fighting for better health-care options for small business, legal reform, tax relief and regulatory reform.
And NFIB saw results. Out of a total of 275 endorsed gubernatorial- and congressional-hopefuls, 248 claimed victory on Election Night, putting small-business-friendly candidates in the win column 90 percent of the time.
Some of the key wins in the House and the Senate for NFIB were the following:
Senate- Mel Martinez, Fla.
