While political pundits aren’t expecting a dramatic change of power in the U.S. House of Representatives after all the votes have been cast on Election Day, small business is looking closely at the candidates who will work hard for small-business issues during the next term.
Your vote can make the difference for small business Nov. 2, no matter where you live.
Across the nation, many races that are neck-and-neck, and this is where the small-business vote is most crucial, says NFIB Vice President Dave Voepel. The latest political reports and polls are labeling the following races as too close to call:
- Babbitt-Renzi, Ariz., 1st District
- Salazar-Walcher, Colo., 3rd District
- Beauprez-Thomas, Colo., 7th District
- Simmons-Sullivan, Conn. 2nd District
- Barrow-Burns, Ga., 12th District
- Multiple candidates, La., 3rd District
- Higgins-Naples, N.Y., 27th District
- Hooley-Zupancic, Ore. 5th District
- Gerlach-Murphy, Pa., 6th District
- Lampson-Poe, Texas, 2nd District
- Edwards-Wohlgemuth, Texas, 17th District
- Multiple candidates, Utah, 2nd District
- Reichert-Ross, Wash., 8th District
NFIB members realize the importance of Election 2004 and are getting out the vote to family members, colleagues and friends alike.
