Mandy MinickOhio Communications Director
Mandy Minick joined NFIB as the Midwest Region media communications manager on Dec. 5, 2005, before becoming the Ohio communications director in January of 2007. NFIB is a non-profit business and professional organization designed to promote the economic, financial and non-partisan political welfare of independent, small-business owners. Minick spearheads the organization's earned media and communications initiatives for the state of Ohio.
Originally from Mineral Ridge, Ohio, Minick joined the NFIB Midwest Regional team after serving for four years in the Ohio Senate. She started her legislative career as a Legislative Service Commission intern in 2001. She advanced to the position of deputy press secretary for the Senate Majority Caucus, and eventually was promoted to press secretary. She holds degrees in English/journalism and mass communication from Miami University.
Minick resides in Columbus, Ohio.
