Small Business Economic Trends -- December 2002

Small business optimism showed more strength in November. The Index of Small Business Optimism rose by 1.5 points to 101.9, signaling continued solid economic growth. Much of this increase in the Index is due to large gains in small business owners' outlook for general business conditions in the next six months.
