Austin Luncheon Set for Nov. 4
During these economic times, it is important that small business owners work together to make sure that your right to own, operate and grow your business is protected. So after you vote, join NFIB and AIBA for a luncheon and discussion on state and federal issues affecting your bottom line.
As you know, healthcare reform is being debated, discussed and voted on right now. It is critical that small business owners continue to stay involved and active in the process. Cap and trade is another important issue in Congress right now that could drive your electricity costs up 40%. Small business cannot afford to sit by while legislation that hurts their bottom line is debated.
NFIB/Texas' Executive Director Will Newton and Communications Director Laura Stromberg will address these important issues along with other state and federal issues, like card check, the margin tax and unemployment insurance.
