NFIB Select Provides Global Emergency Services to Tennessee Members
NFIB Select, the small business health plan provided by Bluegrass Family Health is proud to announce that Bluegrass has partnered with Assist America to provide global emergency services to each member enrolled in an NFIB Select health plan. This program immediately connects members to doctors, hospitals, pharmacies and other services if a medical emergency is experienced when traveling 100 miles or more aware from home, or in another country.
An additional benefit to a company’s health plan, a few of the fully paid global emergency services provided by Assist America include (but are not limited to):
- Prescription Assistance
- Hospital Admission Guarantee
- Care of Minor Children
- Emergency Trauma Counseling
- Medical Consultation & Referral
- Lost Luggage or Document Assistance
- Much more
With the Bluegrass Family Health Assist America program as part of the benefit offering with NFIB Select, employers are able to introduce a new, visible and popular employee benefit at no additional cost while connecting and protecting employees to quality healthcare anywhere on the globe. This benefit also alleviates the business’s liability to care for and pat the unexpected costs associated with an employee who becomes ill or injured while traveling on business.
NFIB Select is available to small businesses in 20 Tennessee counties with two to 50 employees and provides a discount of at least 5% on health premiums to NFIB members, or any business willing to become an NFIB member.
