AlaCOMP, NFIB’s partner in the NFIB/Alabama Workers’ Compensation program, is extending a special invitation to NFIB members to attend a FREE SEMINAR to help small business owners understand how workers’ compensation practices can affect their business.

Seminar topics will includet:

  • Introduction to Loss and Control and Starting a Safety Program- What is an accident?  Causes of accidents.  How accidents can be prevented.  Ultimately, why you are the most important element in working more safely. 
  • Alabama Workers' Compensation Information for Employers- Average weekly wage, types of disability, workers’ compensation red glags and other workers’ compensation issues that employers may be faced with.
  •  Advanced Workers' Compensation Claims Management- Updates on the Workers' Compensation Statute, court case rulings that may impact work comp costs for employers and scenarios for real workers' compensation injuries for training purposes.  Gain a working knowledge of workers’ compensation process.

NFIB members have the opportunity to own and control their workers' compensation costs through the Alabama Workers' Compensation program provided by AlaCOMP, an Alabama-only Workers' Compensation Self Insurance Fund.
