The Legislature must balance a major budget shortfall, which is estimated from $2-4 billion, making the repeal of sales tax exemptions a real possibility this year. However, it appears that legislators also see a role for small business in turning the economy around and have already filed several bills aimed at improving the climate for Florida's small businesses.
