Your Second Chance to Learn from the Virtual Summit

It’s a brave new virtual world out there, and we were thrilled to see nearly 4,000 small business owners plunge into it this week at NFIB’s first Virtual Summit.

If you missed the live event, you can still access the presentations and Q&As that followed, ask questions and network with other small business owners any time in the next six months. All of the materials are archived online until March 15. You simply register, and you’ll get access to all the great information shared at the summit. We hope you and your employees will take the time, if you couldn’t on Tuesday, to take advantage of all that was offered.

The summit provided attendees with opportunities for online education and networking with other entrepreneurs conveniently from their desktops at home or office. Judging by your feedback, it was a huge success.

Thousands of you heard from nationally known experts on the healthcare reform debate and the state of the economy. At the same time, we hope you benefit from the practical tips about using popular online tools to grow your businesses during presentations by staff specialists from eBay, Google and Facebook.

The final verdict? Here’s what you told us:
  • “Enjoying the NFIB virtual Summit...Learning tons! Meeting great people!”
  • “I’m attending the NFIB Virtual Summit today. It’s a great networking opportunity for small, independent businesses.”
  • “Thank you for hosting this Virtual Summit. I have learned a great deal. Not to mention it’s way cool, too.”
We thought it was way cool, too. Clearly, the topic that generated the most interest was healthcare. The debate rages on with the introduction this week of Sen. Max Baucus’ proposal from the Senate Finance Committee. Our team of lobbyists will continue to work with this committee, and the rest of Congress, to make sure the final bill offers critical relief to small business. Be sure to read the latest on this week’s action in the U.S. Senate.

P.S. We’d like to thank our sponsors for making the Virtual Summit possible: eBay, Dun & Bradstreet, Solveras Payment Solutions, Google, The Heritage Foundation and SBTV.com.
