Who's Listening to Your Voice at the State Capitol?

Date: May 22, 2017

Sen. Lynda Wilson for one

“In a word, NFIB has clout. Just ask any legislator. Their intimate knowledge of small-business issues is held in high regard and widely respected.

“They have a seat at a very important table. In the past few years as a legislator, I have seen a surplus of legislation that, at the very least, hinders business and, at its worst, kills it. NFIB is very effective in making sure the important matters of small business are not only heard, but heeded in the Legislature. Many policymakers look to NFIB for common-sense approaches to some very burdensome regulations.

“Not only does NFIB represent small business matters well, they are proactive in bringing ideas forward that will benefit us. I had the opportunity to work closely with NFIB this session to advance, and ultimately get signed into law, a great piece of legislation protecting the rights of small businesses.

“I can’t think of any business association that can yield as great a return on investment as a membership in NFIB.”
