53 House Candidates Earn NFIB Virginia PAC Endorsements

Date: August 23, 2017

Nicole Riley, state director of the National Federation of Independent Business, said today that the political action committee of Virginia’s leading small-business association has endorsed 53 candidates for seats in the House of Delegates.

“Our members support the candidates who support small business,” Riley said. “We need legislators who understand the challenges facing Virginia’s job creators. We need to elect the candidates who oppose higher taxes and support sensible regulations that will enable small businesses to grow and create jobs.”

The endorsements from the NFIB Virginia PAC are critical to the candidates’ campaigns. Small-business owners and their employees vote in large numbers and are known for actively recruiting friends, family members and acquaintances to go to the polls. NFIB has pledged it will activate its grassroots network on behalf of the campaign. NFIB’s political support is based on the candidates’ positions and records on small-business issues.
