When the Legislature returns to Baton Rouge in 2013, NFIB/Louisiana will be there to:
- Fight attempts to raise taxes on small businesses
- Support efforts to repeal the local sales tax on prescription drugs
- Require disclosure in asbestos bankruptcy trust filings
- Push for more changes to the state retirement system
- Convince lawmakers to oppose payroll deductions to be used for political purposes
- Protect property owners from government encroaching and threatening private property rights
