How to Enter:  

All registrants and attendees who participate in a free webinar in May 2010 are automatically entered into the contest and will accumulate points based on the levels below. Participation in multiple webinars increases the participants’ chances to win. The five (5) different levels of participation include:

  1. Attended a webinar but did not take quiz at the end of the webinar.  Each webinar = 10 points.
  2. Attended a webinar and took quiz at the end of the webinar.   Each webinar = 20 points.
  3. Registered for webinar (but did not attend).  Each webinar = 5 points.
  4. Number of people you referred (and attended) the webinar. Each referral = 10 points.  (Referral must enter your name in the referral box during registration. You must attend at least one webinar to acquire points for referrals).
  5. Every tweet or retweet with #NFIBlive = 1 point. You can decide on the rest of your message and the frequency, but you are limited to 1 point per Twitter account per 24-hour window.  Humans only please; entries using automated tweets, bots or scripts will be disqualified. (You must attend at least one webinar to acquire points for tweeting and retweeting).
  • Attendee with highest number of points will win an iPad.
  • Attendee with second highest points will win a $50 gift card.
  • Attendee with third highest points will win a $50 gift card.

In case of a tie, all attendees with highest point value will be entered into a drawing for the prize.

Winners will be emailed by June 15, 2010. Names of winners will also be posted on NFIB.com.
Webinars will be held on May 5, 12, 19, and 26 and are free and open to the public.

Eligibility:  

Eligibility is limited to persons at least 18 years of age, who are legal residents of the United States or its territories and possessions. The giveaway is void where prohibited or restricted by law and is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. NFIB employees and their families are not eligible.

Prizes:  

  1. One (1) winner will receive one (1) iPad. Actual retail value is $499. Odds will depend on the number of eligible entries. NFIB estimates the total number of entries to be 4,000 and the odds of winning as 4,000:1.
  2. One (1) winner will receive one (1) $50 gift card. Odds will depend on the number of eligible entries.  NFIB estimates the total number of entries to be 4,000 and the odds of winning as 4,000:1.
  3. One (1) winner will receive one (1) $50 gift card. Odds will depend on the number of eligible entries.  NFIB estimates the total number of entries to be 4,000 and the odds of winning as 4,000:1.

The winner is solely responsible for paying all applicable federal, state, and local taxes, and all other expenses associated with the acceptance and/or use of prize.   No transfer or substitution of the prize permitted except by NFIB who reserves the right to substitute a prize of comparable or greater value.  

Conditions of Participation:  

Participants agree to be bound by these rules and all decisions of the prize judges, whose decisions will be final. Prize must be claimed within thirty (30) days of first attempted notification or will be forfeited. Unclaimed prizes will be awarded by subsequent drawings from remaining eligible entries or the attendee with the next highest amount of points. If, for any reason, the fairness or integrity of the prize giveaway becomes compromised, NFIB reserves the right to terminate or modify the giveaway, and to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process or the administration of the giveaway. By accepting the prize, the winner agrees that NFIB may use the winner's name and company name for advertising and promotional purposes without further consideration, unless prohibited by law. By participating in the contest, the participant agrees that NFIB, it’s subsidiaries, its affiliates and all of NFIB’s officers, directors, employees and representatives, will have no liability whatsoever for, and will be held harmless for any and all liability for any injury, loss or damages of any kind to persons, including death, and property, due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the prize or participation in this contest or any prize related activity. Void where prohibited.

Prize Notification:
