I have really enjoyed the ease and reliability of using a hosted exchange server for email and shared calendars and such, but now have need to have a server machine in house. Does anyone have experience or tips for transitioning from hosted to in house with outlook, it seems to be giving me problems and I seem to have them narrowed down to the fact that I am currently checking for mail on the hosted exchange server. I would actually like to keep the hosted for mail if that is an option but want to log into the server and have active directory's set up and be able to back up all my data more efficiently.

Thanks!

I have someone who can possibly help you...but only if you are a relatively small business and can't afford the help. We are not in the IT business. We are a software development company. We would not charge you for our help, whatever that might be, we can relate our experiences for sure. I don't do business in that space. The thing is, we have actually gone the opposite direction, from in-house to hosted Exchange. The guy that dealt with all the challenges is extremely busy right now. How long before you need to talk to soembody?
