Washington, DC (October 20, 2016) – The National Federation of
Independent Business (NFIB)
, the nation’s leading advocate for small
business owners, today endorsed Rep. Todd
Young (IN-09)
for election to the U.S. Senate.

“Indiana small business owners want to see Rep.
Todd Young serving in the Senate next year,” said NFIB CEO and President
Juanita Duggan
. “In his time in the House, he stood with small business on
every critical vote monitored by the NFIB. We know that he would work hard to
reduce taxes, fight oppressive regulations, and make health care more
affordable. Small business owners need more champions in the Senate like Todd
Young.”

“Todd Young has been a strong voice for
Indiana small business owners in the House and is the best choice for Senate,”
said NFIB/Indiana State Director Barbara
Underwood
. “We know that he will work hard to make it easier for small
businesses to grow and create jobs in our state.”

The list of votes scored by NFIB in the
present Congress is available here.

Young’s endorsement today comes from the
NFIB SAFE Trust, the organization’s political action committee.  Small
business owners vote in high percentages and they are influential in their
communities.
