Washington, D.C. (October 31, 2016) – The National Federation of
Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s leading representative of small
business owners, is endorsing Rep. Jackie
Walorski (IN-02) for re-election. Walorski has a strong record of
supporting legislation that would help small businesses and should be returned to the U.S. House of
Representatives.
“Congresswoman Walorski understands what
Indiana small businesses need to thrive and prosper,” said NFIB/Indiana State
Director Barbara Quandt Underwood. “She’s been fighting in Washington to
relieve the burden of high taxes, red tape, and high health insurance costs.
Small business owners in her district want to see her re-elected so she can
keep up the good work.”
Walorski qualified for an endorsement from the
NFIB by achieving a high rating on votes scored in the current Congress. The
Congresswoman earned 100 percent on the 15 votes NFIB monitored. The list of the
votes is available here.
Walorski’s endorsement today comes from
the NFIB SAFE Trust, the organization’s political action committee. Small
business owners vote in high percentages
and they are influential in their communities.
