Washington, D.C. (October 14, 2016) – The National Federation of
Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s leading representative of small
business owners, is endorsing Ted Budd
for North Carolina’s 13th Congressional
District. Budd’s commitment to issues that small business owners care about
makes him an ideal candidate for Congress.
“Ted Budd will stand up for North Carolina
small business owners in the U.S. House,” said NFIB National Political Director Sharon Sussin. “As a small
business owner and someone who grew up in a family business, Budd knows the
challenges the federal government poses to growth and success. We can count on
him to fight against red tape and high taxes. We’re looking forward to seeing
him serve in the U.S. House.”
“I am so honored to have received this
endorsement from the NFIB,” said Budd. “I couldn’t be more proud that they
recognize my commitment to America’s small businesses. As a small business
owner myself, I know the importance of creating an environment where people can
grow their business and create more jobs. “
Budd’s endorsement today comes from the NFIB
SAFE Trust, the organization’s political action committee. Small business
owners vote in high percentages and they are influential in their
communities. NFIB members in North Carolina’s 13th Congressional
District will work hard to send Ted Budd to Congress.
