Washington, D.C. (October 11, 2016) – The National Federation of
Independent Business (NFIB)
, the nation’s leading representative of small
business owners, is endorsing Liz Cheney
for Wyoming’s Seat in the U.S. House of
Representatives
. Cheney’s commitment to issues that small business owners
care about makes her an ideal candidate for Congress.

“Liz Cheney will be a great defender of
Wyoming small businesses in the U.S. House,” said NFIB National Political Director Sharon Sussin. “She understands
that federal policies on taxes, regulations, and health care are making it hard
for small business owners to succeed. In Congress, she will protect the liberty
of her state’s small businesses so that they can be free to create prosperity
and new jobs.”

“Small business owners, ranchers and farmers,
and families across Wyoming know the federal government under Barack Obama
taxes too much, regulates too much, and threatens our jobs and livelihoods,”
said Cheney. “Hillary Clinton and liberal Democrats in Congress have pledged to
continue the failed economic policies of the past eight years that have
devastated our families, our businesses and our way of life. I will fight to
reverse these trends by working to repeal Obamacare, reduce out of control
regulations that threaten Wyoming energy and ag producers, and cut taxes and
simplify our tax code so our small business owners and families can keep more
of their hard earned dollars.”

Cheney’s endorsement today comes from the NFIB
SAFE Trust, the organization’s political action committee.  Small business
owners vote in high percentages and they are influential in their
communities.  NFIB members in Wyoming will work hard to send Liz
Cheney
to Congress.
