Washington, D.C. (May 11, 2017) – The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s leading representative of small business owners, is endorsing Karen Handel in Georgia’s 6th Congressional District. Handel’s commitment to issues that small business owners care about makes her an ideal candidate for Congress.

“Karen will be a strong voice for small business in the U.S. House,” said NFIB National Political Director Sharon Sussin. “Small business owners are excited that she has made reforming taxes, regulations, and health care her top priorities. Unlocking small business growth is the key to creating new jobs in Georgia and across the country.”

“As the former President of the North Fulton Chamber of Commerce, I understand what it takes to foster an environment where small businesses thrive and create jobs,” said Karen Handel. “I am honored to receive the endorsement of the NFIB.  In Congress, I will work to reduce the job-killing regulations that cost our small businesses millions.”

Handel’s endorsement today comes from the NFIB FedPAC, the organization’s political action committee.  Small business owners vote in high percentages and they are influential in their communities.  NFIB members in Georgia’s 6th Congressional District will work hard to send Karen Handel to Congress.
