Washington, D.C. (October 16, 2016) – The National Federation of
Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s leading representative of small
business owners, is endorsing Jack
Bergman for Michigan’s 1st
Congressional District. Bergman’s commitment to issues that small business
owners care about makes him an ideal candidate for Congress.
“Jack Bergman will stand up for Michigan small
business owners in the U.S. House,” said NFIB
National Political Director Sharon Sussin. “As someone who started and
operated two small businesses, he knows how the federal government makes it
difficult to succeed and create jobs. We know he will fight for sensible health
care, tax, and regulatory policies.”
Bergman’s endorsement today comes from the
NFIB SAFE Trust, the organization’s political action committee. Small
business owners vote in high percentages and they are influential in their
communities. NFIB members in Michigan’s 1st Congressional
District will work hard to send Jack Bergman to Congress.
