Congressman Gets High Marks from the National Federation of Independent Business

Washington, D.C. (August 10, 2016) – The National Federation of
Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s leading representative of small
business owners, is endorsing Rep. Glenn
Grothman (WI-06) for re-election. Grothman has a strong record of
supporting legislation that would help small businesses and should be returned
to the U.S. House of Representatives.
“Congressman Grothman has been a strong voice
for small business and deserves to be re-elected,” said NFIB National
Political Director Sharon Sussin. “He stood with small business owners on
every critical vote the NFIB has scored in this Congress. We need him back in
the U.S. House next year continuing to promote legislation that reduces the tax
and regulatory burdens on small businesses in Wisconsin.”
“I am honored to have the endorsement of
NFIB and small business owners throughout Wisconsin’s 6th district,”
said Grothman. “Small businesses drive Wisconsin’s economy. It is an honor and
privilege to work on behalf of small business owners every day. I will continue
to fight out-of-control federal regulations and taxes that are smothering small
businesses.”
Grothman qualified for an endorsement from the
NFIB by achieving a high rating on votes scored in the current Congress. The
Congressman earned 100 percent on the 13 votes NFIB has monitored so far. The

Grothman’s endorsement today comes from
the NFIB SAFE Trust, the organization’s political action committee. Small
business owners vote in high percentages and they are influential in their
communities.
