Washington, D.C. (June 22, 2016) – The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s leading representative of small business owners, is endorsing Rep. Barbara Comstock (VA-10) for re-election. Comstock has a strong record of supporting legislation that would help small businesses and should be returned to the U.S. House of Representatives.

“Congresswoman Barbara Comstock has been a strong voice for small business and deserves to be re-elected,” said NFIB National Political Director Sharon Sussin. “So far this Congress, she has stood with small business owners on every critical vote watched by the NFIB. We need her back in the U.S. House fighting for sensible policies that create jobs and economic growth.”

Comstock qualified for an endorsement from the NFIB by achieving a high rating on votes scored in the current Congress. Comstock earned 100 percent on the 13 votes NFIB has monitored so far. The list of the votes is available here.

Comstock’s endorsement today comes from the NFIB SAFE Trust, the organization’s political action committee.  Small business owners vote in high percentages and they are influential in their communities.
