Washington,
D.C. (November 9, 2016)
– The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), America’s
leading small business advocate, issued the following statements in response to
the re-election of Sen. Roy Blunt:

“On behalf of the National Federation of
Independent Business and its members in Missouri, I would like to congratulate Senator
Roy Blunt on his re-election,” said NFIB
President and CEO Juanita Duggan
. “We were proud to endorse Senator Blunt based
on his strong record of support for small business. In Missouri, more than 97
percent of employers are small businesses and they employ about half of the
state’s workers. NFIB is ready to work with him on policies that will make
small businesses stronger, create more jobs in Missouri and across the U.S.,
and make our entire nation more prosperous.”

“Missouri small business owners are grateful to
see that Senator Roy Blunt will be headed back to the Senate next year,” said NFIB/Missouri State Director Brad Jones.
“Throughout his career, Senator Blunt has
stood with small business on the critical issues.  We look forward to seeing what he can
accomplish in another term.”
