Washington, D.C. (December 5, 2016) – The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) announced today that Anne-Wesley Teague joined the organization as the National Director of the Leadership Trust, in charge of major donor fundraising.

“Anne-Wesley Teague brings to NFIB years of proven experience working with major donors,” said NFIB Senior Vice President for Public Policy Brad Close. “She will help our members amplify the voice they have in elections. Small business ranks high as one of America’s most trusted institutions but is too often ignored by policymakers. Teague’s experience and expertise will be a huge benefit to NFIB and our members.”

Before joining the NFIB, Teague headed up major donor fundraising at the American Medical Association and directed the PAC and grassroots activities at the American Hotel and Lodging Association. Teague was director of donor relations at the University of Denver. Teague also is a founder of the RightNOW Women PAC, a volunteer organization helping elect qualified women to federal office.
