Washington,
D.C. (November 8, 2016)
– The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), America’s
leading small business advocate, issued the following statements in response to
the re-election of Sen. John McCain:

“On behalf of the National Federation of
Independent Business and its members in Arizona, I would like to congratulate Senator
John McCain on his re-election,” said NFIB
President and CEO Juanita Duggan
. “We were proud to endorse Senator McCain based
on his strong record of support for small business. In Arizona, more than 97
percent of all employers are small businesses and they employ over two-fifths
of the state’s workers. NFIB is ready to work with him on policies that will
make small businesses stronger, create more jobs in Arizona and across the U.S.,
and make our entire nation more prosperous.”

“Arizona small business owners are grateful to
see that Senator John McCain will be headed back to the Senate next year,” said
NFIB/Arizona State Director Farrell
Quinlan
. “Senator McCain has fought on behalf of small businesses
throughout his career.  We know that we
can count on him to continue to advocate for small business freedom in his next
term.”
