Ohio BWC True Up Deadline Has Come and Gone

Date: August 17, 2016

The deadline for private employers to submit their first-ever payroll true-up report was Monday, August 15, 2016. If you did not complete this process, it can be very costly to your business. You may be removed from your discount programs for this year and the coming year for not completing the true-up.

If you did not complete the process, it can still be started by going to http://www.bwc.ohio.gov and logging in with your user ID and password. If you don’t have one, you will need to create one by following the directions located near the top right-hand corner of the BWC’s home page.

The BWC has put together a short video demonstrating how to complete your payroll true-up. It can be found here at this link. Please click here to view the video.

If your company uses a payroll company or vendor, you should already have contacted them to verify that they completed this task for you.

If you cannot complete the process online, you can call BWC directly at 1-800-644-6292 and ask for a BWC representative.  You may also call the rates department at CareWorksComp for additional help at 1-866-780-NFIB (6342), option 4.
