Congressional Field Hearing on Regulatory Overkill

May 6th in Plymouth, MI

On Tuesday, May 6th there will be a Congressional Field Hearing in Plymouth, Michigan on “Assessing Regulatory Impediments to Job Creation” Participating in the hearing will be Michigan Congressman Bentivolio (MI-11), and Congressman John Mica (FL-7). The Field Hearing is being held at Plymouth Township Town Council Hall at 9:00 AM.

A 2011 report on the impact of federal regulations on job creation from the Congressional Committee on Oversight and Government Reform makes it clear that the overzealous regulation from agencies under the direct control of the White House is responsible for much of the lackluster job performance in recent years.
