The National Federation of Independent Business/Ohio, the state’s leading small business association, is happy to announce the election of George Lang to the group’s statewide leadership council. Lang is the President of SecondCall Defense in West Chester, Ohio.
As a member of the group’s statewide leadership council he attends quarterly meetings that serve to guide the organization’s statewide activities. He is also active in the organization’s Butler/Warren Area Action Council where local small business owners meet quarterly with local elected officials and discuss issues impacting Ohio entrepreneurs.
“It is a privilege, and a welcomed responsibility, to sit on NFIB’s Leadership Council. As a CEO, I value the efforts that NFIB puts forward on behalf of the small business community. As a Township Trustee, I understand that small business is the economic engine of our community, and NFIB helps the small business engine to perform at higher level. NFIB is a true champion of independently owned businesses,” said Lang.
“NFIB represents over 25,000 small business owners in Ohio. As the voice of Ohio’s entrepreneurs, it is important to have leaders such as George Lang on our state Leadership Council advancing the cause of Ohio’s independent businesses,” said Vice President/Executive Director of NFIB/Ohio Roger R. Geiger. “NFIB is truly a member-driven association relying on the involvement of people like George to offer guidance to our organization. We would not be able to carry out our mission of protecting our members right to own, operate and grow their businesses without their support.”
NFIB/Ohio Leadership Chair Ty Baker-Baumann (Greenville, OH) welcomes George Lang (West Chester, OH) to the state Leadership Council of the organization.
