NFIB to Co-Host Small Business Roundtable With Lt. Gov. Forest in Spruce Pine

 The North Carolina office of the National Federation of Independent Business, the Mitchell County Chamber of Commerce, and the Small Business Center at Mayland Community College will host a small-business roundtable with Lt. Gov. Dan Forest in Spruce Pine on Wednesday, Aug. 31. The event is open to the media.
“The lieutenant governor won’t be giving a speech,” said Gregg Thompson, state director of NFIB/North Carolina, the state’s leading small-business association. “He’s coming to talk to small-business owners from around the region about the issues affecting them and what they’d like to see come out of Raleigh in 2017.”
