FEMA Offering a Shelter-in-Place Workshop to Business Owners

Date: January 31, 2017

The FEMA Region II Shelter-in-Place Workshop is intended for crisis and continuity planners. The purpose is to discuss the initial actions and long term challenges for you to conduct a shelter-in-place operation at your facility or place of business in response to a major disaster. This workshop will use a nuclear detonation as a scenario as a way to use the ‘worst case scenario’ to encourage discussions and identify best practices that could be used on any other type of disaster.

The workshops will be:

March 21, 2017, 830am to 4pm – American Red Cross in Tinton Falls, NJ (1540 W. Park Ave, Ocean, NJ 07712). To register, visit: https://fema.connectsolutions.com/r2siptinton/event/registration.html
