NFIB Member Business Party Plus
Tents + Events in Glen Burnie recently hosted an open house in their new facilities showing off what they have to offer. It was a glitzy, glamours event with fine linens, great music, and fantastic food.
Party Plus teamed up with many other local employers including
5 of the top caters in the area. Various
menu items were available for tasting from The Classic
Catering People, Eleven Courses, The Pantry Catering, Zeffert and Gold and Two
Rivers Fish and Steak. The Wine Bin poured beer and wine for all attendees.
“More so than
ever, it is incredibly important that small business owners support one another
and we were excited to collaborate with our partners and give them an
opportunity to showcase their talents as well as provide the public an
opportunity to see firsthand the options they have available for special events
in Maryland,” according to Party Plus General
Manager, Lauri Dixon. “We’ve recently expanded our line of services and
with that has come an increased opportunity to work with the allies in our
community. Pooling resources together is vital to the small business community
and we have had success in doing just that.”
Party Plus Tents + Events, who joined the National
Federation of Independent Business in 1995, employs dozens of people, depending
on the time of the year. According to Mrs. Dixon, their decision to recently
expand was a risk that they ultimately decided to take in spite of the
uncertain economic climate and looming regulations that could harm their small
business. Additionally, working with other small business owners in the area
has been instrumental in their transition to expand services to their customers. Your Complete Home For Tent,
Party Plus services the Maryland, D.C. and Virginia region and they provide chairs, tables, and party supply rentals for a variety of events; big or small.
