Every fall our state director travels
Louisiana reconnecting with small business owners updating them on the
legislative sessions and raising awareness about the legislators who were
champions for small business during the session.
This year four legislators were selected
to receive NFIB’s highest legislative recognition for their efforts on behalf
of our members. These legislators went above and beyond to balance both the
needs of our state and protect small business owner’s ability to own, operate
and grow their businesses. We are so proud to call them Guardians of Small
Business.

Additionally, Guardian Certificates are
being presented to over 50 legislators who worked tirelessly to protect small
business interests during the very difficult back-to-back legislative sessions
of 2016.
