Jamie Cobby is NFIB's New Grassroots Manager

Date: April 11, 2017

The National Federation of Independent Business has named Jamie Cobby as its grassroots manager (formerly member support manager) for Illinois, Kansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma.

Cobby, who will be based in Springfield, will work closely with NFIB directors in the four states to help manage the association’s grassroots programs and encourage members to participate in the legislative and political process.

“We’re very pleased to have Jamie join the team,” said Kristie Proctor, senior grassroots manager for the South Region. “Jamie brings a lot of experience and energy to the organization, and that’s important when it comes to helping the voice of small business be heard.”

Prior to joining NFIB, Cobby was an administrative assistant and grassroots coordinator for the Illinois Bankers Association. Before that, she worked as an account tech at the Illinois Department of Veterans’ Affairs and as a volunteer coordinator with AARP Illinois.
