For small business owners fed up with the healthcare system, a Florida Senate committee turned out some good news this week.
The Senate Health Policy Committee passed a so-called direct primary care bill, alleviating the intensive role of insurance companies in preventative and routine monthly medical check-ups.
The bill was backed by NFIB/Florida. The full House will weight the bill next.
