In addition to
electing members of the state Legislature and Congress this November, Michigan voters will be
asked to elect two justices to the Michigan Supreme Court.
After careful consideration and surveys of the membership, the NFIB political action
committee – the NFIB/Michigan SAFE (Save America’s Free Enterprise) Trust – has endorsed incumbent Supreme Court
Justices David Viviano and Joan Larsen for reelection to the high court.
Justices
Viviano and Larsen are essential members of the Michigan Supreme Court, and
their work on the court has been a key factor in Michigan’s ongoing progress in
improving our business climate. Their record on the bench reflects
a realistic view of the vital role a fair and balanced court plays in
addressing the problems facing family businesses and their employees.
Voter’s must identify and support candidates
that are interested in creating a fair, stable legal system and one that is not
just an ATM machine for litigious trial lawyers.
