Small Business Honors Seven Lawmakers

The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), New York’s leading
small business advocacy organization, announced today the recipients of the
“Guardian Award”.  This award, which is NFIB’s highest honor, is reserved
for elected officials who vote and stand up consistently in the interest of New
York small business owners.  The 2016 Guardian Award winners are listed
below:

Assemblyman Brian Kolb

Assemblyman James Tedisco

Assemblyman Robin Schimminger

Assemblyman Steve McLaughlin

Assemblyman Robert Oaks

Assemblyman Bill Nojay

Assemblyman Claudia Tenney

 

“These
seven lawmakers have shown exceptional leadership and commitment to New York’s
small business owners and I am proud to present the NFIB Guardian Award to each
of these deserving lawmakers,” said Mike Durant, NFIBNY State Director. 
“Each recipient has shown the courage and resolve that small employers desperately
need in Albany.  As an organization we are grateful to each of these
members of the Assembly and look forward to continuing our work together
helping move New York forward for small business.”
