Date: October 19, 2016 Last Edit: October 20, 2016

Tallahassee, October 19, 2016 – The National
Federation of Independent Business, Florida’s leading small-business association,
today announced its endorsement of Joe Gruters in House District 73. The
endorsement was made by NFIB/Florida SAFE (Save America’s Free Enterprise)
Trust, which is comprised exclusively of NFIB members.

“Joe is a true believer in free enterprise, and will support policies that help
small business owners grow and prosper,” said Bill Herrle, NFIB/Florida
Executive Director.

“As a CPA who runs my own small business, I understand the challenges that
Florida’s business owners are facing,” Gruters said. “I will go to
Tallahassee to do all I can to help business owners keep more of what they
earn.”

The NFIB/Florida SAFE Trust endorsement is based on a candidate’s voting
record, interviews, and questionnaire regarding key small-business issues
including healthcare, taxes, tort, labor, and regulatory issues. The
endorsement brings the considerable grassroots support of more than 10,500 of
Florida’s small businesses.
