Small Business Endorses Debbie Mayfield in Senate District 17

Date: September 29, 2016

Tallahassee, September 29, 2016 – The National
Federation of Independent Business, Florida’s leading small-business association,
today announced its endorsement of Debbie Mayfield in Senate District 17. The
endorsement was made by NFIB/Florida SAFE (Save America’s Free Enterprise)
Trust, which is comprised exclusively of NFIB members.

“Debbie understands that business-friendly policies like cutting taxes and
streamlining regulations will grow the economy and help business owners create
jobs, and that’s the exact approach we need to see more of from the Florida
Senate,” said Bill Herrle, NFIB/Florida Executive Director.

“Small business is the backbone of our economy,” Mayfield said. “I’m thrilled
to have the support of NFIB and remain committed to helping improve the
business climate in Florida so our businesses can grow and create new jobs.”

The NFIB/Florida SAFE Trust endorsement is based on a candidate’s voting
record, interviews, and questionnaire regarding key small-business issues
including healthcare, taxes, tort, labor, and regulatory issues. The
endorsement brings the considerable grassroots support of more than 10,500 of
Florida’s small businesses.
