NFIB Launches $250,000 Campaign In Support of Joe Heck

Date: October 31, 2016

CARSON CITY, Nev., Oct. 31, 2016—The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) SAFE Trust launched a $250,000 radio advertising campaign in support of U.S. Senate candidate Rep. Joe Heck as part of a broader, $650,000 effort to elect small-business champions in key 2016 Senate races.
“This is a crucially important race that could determine the balance of power in the Senate,” said NFIB President and CEO Juanita Duggan. “NFIB is urging voters to support Congressman Heck, who stood with Nevada small businesses on every key issue during this Congress.”
NFIB identifies the key issues facing small business owners for every session of Congress and then tracks the voting records of every incumbent. Rep. Heck earned a 100-percent score on the NFIB Voting Record in the 114th Congress.
The NFIB radio campaign highlights the importance of electing Rep. Heck to the Senate to fight for Nevada small businesses.
“Every candidate claims to support small-business owners but Representative Heck has the voting record to prove it,” said NFIB/Nevada State Director Randi Thompson. “This is a critically important race, and our goal is to educate voters who care about small business on why it is vitally important to support Congressman Heck for Senate.”
