“With Doug in Bismarck, small-business owners and families across our state will have a leader who is passionate about supporting entrepreneurs and innovators who are creating new jobs for our state,” said Rae Ann Kelsch, NFIB/North Dakota state director, speaking for the NFIB/North Dakota SAFE Trust (Save America’s Free Enterprise) Political Action Committee, which made the endorsement of Burgum.
“I am grateful for the NFIB’s support, and together we can diversify our economy to create jobs and build vibrant communities across North Dakota to attract and retains our children and grandchildren,” said Burgum.
The endorsement of Burgum was made at Fargo Glass and Paint, an NFIB-member business owned by Dan Martinson. With more than 2,000 dues-paying members in North Dakota and 325,000 members nationwide, the National Federation of Independent Business is the nation’s largest small-business association.
